In early 2018 I was approached by my good friend Jake Ferguson to assist in pre and post production on the 2018 Barcelona main titles. Due to my tight work week schedule during this project I was limited to weekends to help out. My responsibilities included animatic scene creation and camera layouts, 3D look development, and the OFFF logo animation at the end. The concept behind this was piece was deeply routed in Greek myth Gemini. For a deeper description of the project, here is an excerpt from Heebok Lee recorded by Stash Magazine :   

“This sequence is about McLuhan’s famous quote ‘The medium is the message’ infused with the Greek myth of Gemini.

“We adopted the story of Gemini and paralleled their story with the history of media; their secret birth, sisterhood, and death/resurrection along with letterpress printing, broadcast transmutation, and computer/AI world.

“Carefully composed shots allow the viewer to experience our poetic imagination of the story. We made sure the visual rhythm was achieved in the manner of visual poetry by repetition of imagery.”
